A missing pitbull has been located after being lost for days.

Rosie, a white pitbull, was lost Saturday morning after a vehicle crash on Interstate 75 southbound near mile marker 131.

The incident occurred when owner Nathaly Berrios was driving south for a wedding when her steering wheel malfunctioned, causing her car to flip.

“I tried steering right, and it kept going left. I hit the rail, and the car flipped a few times. By the time we came to, I looked back for my dog, and she was completely gone,” she told WINK News on Monday.

Rosie got scared and ran away from the crash site, causing a search for the dog.

However, on Wednesday afternoon, Barrios confirmed to WINK News that Rosie had been found.

Currently, we don’t know the details of how Rosie was located, but we do know that she is safe.

Rosie, however, isn’t in Barrios’ hands yet. She is in the hands of a trapper. Barrios hopes to have someone transport her to Bradenton on Wednesday evening.
