Fort Myers is holding the Southwest Florida Ag Expo, which promises a mix of agriculture, entertainment and education.

The theme, “An Ag-citing Adventure Awaits,” will have youth participants from 4-H, PeeWees of SWFL and Future Farmers of America who are hard at work preparing their projects.

The Market Animal Auction takes place on the last Saturday of the expo. Participants have dedicated months to feeding, grooming and honing their showmanship skills for this event.

The Small Animal Auction is another popular feature, scheduled for the final Friday of the expo. Visitors can bid on high-quality poultry, rabbits, and cavies, all raised by local youth.

Families can also enjoy Fun Show Nights, featuring events like Goat Agility, the Horse Costume Contest, and the Feathers Costume Contest.

Tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. on Feb. 27 and can be bought online beforehand.

The 2025 Ag Expo will be at the Lee County Civic Center Complex, 11831 Bayshore Road, from Feb. 27 to Mar. 9.
