Near-record heat with isolated rain this Thursday afternoon

The Weather Authority is tracking near-record heat this Thursday, along with isolated rain throughout the afternoon.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “This Thursday will feel exceptionally hotter, as highs will be in the upper 80s, with ‘feels like’ temperatures in the 90s. Expect some isolated rain to develop as well.”

Thursday

The heat continues, and this Thursday afternoon, our temperatures will be even hotter.

Highs climb into the mid- to upper 80s, with some communities seeing record heat.

While the communities along the coast are likely to stay dry today, isolated rain is likely east of Interstate 75 in the afternoon and evening. 

Friday

Mild and humid start with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Temperatures continue to be hot, with highs topping out in the mid-80s.

Isolated showers will be popping up Friday afternoon, and they will be held around parts of Southwest Florida.

Saturday

Saturday is looking drier, with sun and clouds in the forecast for your outdoor plans.

Temperatures will be quite hot, with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
