Minnesota Twins, Lee Health host free open house and health fair

The spring training season has kicked into full gear in Southwest Florida.

The Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, and Tampa Bay Rays have their first full-squad workouts on Monday morning.

However, the Twins and Lee Health are joining forces to bring baseball and health awareness into SWFL.

The Twins and Lee Health will host an Open House and Health Fair at the Lee County Sports Complex from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Included is a list of the following health screenings and services:

  • EKGs for children 17 and under
  • Skin cancer screenings
  • Breast and lung cancer screenings
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Free CPR and AED training
  • Lee Health Blood Bus
  • Health Information Booths and Find a Doctor Assistance

Exclusive Minnesota Twins experiences will include:

  • Watching the Twins’ first full-squad workout
  • Kids can interact with players and play on the field
  • Explore the new Minnesota Twins Sensory Room

The Open House and Health Fair is a free event.
