Florida Highway Patrol seeks driver in fatal Lee County hit-and-run

A fatal hit-and-run crash occurred on early Saturday at around 4:43 a.m. on Lee Boulevard and Hanna Avenue in Lee County.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that an unknown vehicle, possibly a gray Kia, struck a 60-year-old male pedestrian traveling east on Lee Blvd. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
