A Florida woman has filed a class action lawsuit against Publix Supermarkets.

She claims the grocery store overcharged her for foods sold by the pound, including meats and deli products.

The woman said she bought food on sale by the pound, but when she checked out, the register charged for more weight than she purchased, forcing her to pay extra.

Her complaint alleges that the chain acted deceptively and unfairly to customers.

WINK News reached out to Publix for comment but has not yet received a response.
