South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Association will host a charity event to help employees affected by the fire that destroyed a Cape Coral restaurant.

The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill caught fire on Oct. 17. According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, three employees were performing their closing duties when the fire erupted from the kitchen.

The charity event starts on Saturday, Nov. 9th, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Cape Coral Entertainment District.
