FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) – Authorities say a vehicle fatally struck a woman who was walking on Interstate 95 near Fort Lauderdale.
The crash happened around 5:25 a.m. Thursday just south of Broward Boulevard on I-95.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials say the woman appeared to be attempting to cross the interstate and was pinned under the vehicle that hit her. She was taken to a Fort Lauderdale hospital where she later died.
