COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A high-end handbag heist was busted in North Naples. Deputies say the thieves stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from stores at Mercato. Private investigator Chris Knott saw the whole thing. He tells WINK News he knew something wasn’t right when he saw a suspicious vehicle circling the Mercato parking lot. Knott says a man and woman in the car got out and stole handbags from Nordstrom Rack. He followed the suspects and called 911. The suspects are now facing grand theft charges.
