Caught on Camera: Man breaks glass window in downtown Fort Myers

The Fort Myers Police Department needs your help identifying a man who they say smashed a window and it was all caught on camera.

According to FMPD, the man in the hat and the and black shirt was in downtown Fort Myers on Halloween night. The man got into a verbal altercation with another patron waiting outside of City Tavern. Because of this, security denied the man entry.

Being denied entry caused the man to become irate, Fort Myers PD said. He then picked up a chair and slammed it into one of the windows at the front of the bar. He then walked to the side of the bar, picked up another chair and slammed that into another window. This caused the glass on the side window to shatter.

The damage ended up costing the bar $1,085.
