The Sanibel Fire & Rescue District sent a crew to Perry, FL, early Sunday morning to assist with disaster relief following Hurricane Helene.

They are a part of a strike team with other first responders.

The crew will spend two weeks in Perry, helping a community devastated by the storm.

In a Facebook post, The Sanibel Rescue Fire District said they are proud of the crewmembers’ “dedication as they step up to help those in need.”
