2 injured in shooting at Babe’s

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Police say two people were injured while trying to break up a fight at an adult entertainment club.

On Saturday, March 7, police responded around 1:52 a.m. to Babe’s located at 3654 Cleveland Avenue.

Authorities say 39-year-old Christopher Geraci, an employee of Babe’s, received a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officers learned that Geraci was shot by an unknown suspect while breaking up a fight in the parking lot. Geraci was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital for injury treatment.

While officers were still at the crime scene, a second victim who also suffered a non-life threatening wound from the same incident, had been transported to Lee Memorial Hospital by a friend.

Officers responded to the hospital and identified the second victim as 30-year-old Radame Soto.

Witnesses describe the shooter as a Hispanic male with medium complexion, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds. Authorities say the suspect has short black hair and wore a long sleeved purple shirt with a gold colored chain around his neck.
