PALM BAY, Fla. – Police are investigating a tragic case, two children are dead and one is in critical condition after being stabbed at their Palm Bay home Friday night.
Police say the suspect is their mother, 33-year-old Jessica McCarty. The children are identified as 7-year-old Laci McCarty and 6-year-old Phillip McCarty. Their 5-month-old brother Christopher Swist was flown to an Orlando hospital.
The mother is in police custody but has not been arrested.
