NAPLES, Fla.- The City of Naples approved a ban for fishing off several city bridges.
City leaders say fishing and throwing items off the bridges are distracting to drivers and a hazard to boaters who pass underneath.
The bridges for the ban include:
Mooring Line Drive Bridge
Park Shore Drive Bridge
Harbour Drive Bridge
Galleon Drive Bridge.
The ordinance goes into effect on June 1.
