LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying two men who heisted more than $600 in compressed cardboard from Costo last week.

According to detectives, two men pulled up to the Costo, located at 7171 Cypress Lake Drive, just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the men exiting a white, two door box truck as they pulled up next to the loading dock at the south side of the building.

The men then worked in unison to lower the truck’s lift gate, remove a pallet jack and load up multiple bales of cardboard into the truck. After roughly 20 minutes of carting $600 worth of cardboard, they closed the lift gate, got back into the truck and left the area.

Police say the truck’s driver is believed to be roughly 40 years old, either white or Hispanic, with his partner in crime being in his 20s.

Anyone with information on the identities and whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
