Man uses cloned credit card at Popeyes, Publix

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Authorities are searching for a man who used a stranger’s banking information to make fraudulent charges.

Officials say the suspect spent $164 at a Publix on Summerlin Road and $9 at a Popeyes restaurant on Fowler Street.

When the purchases were made, the victim still had his debit card in his oossession. Lee County deputies say it’s unknown where his information was stolen and transferred onto a cloned card.
