MGN NORTH PORT, Fla. – Two juveniles were taken into custody in connection with an armed robbery. North Port police say the robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Brenmar Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a car matching the description of the suspects’ car. Officers took two young men into custody. The Sarasota Sheriff’s Office also responded to the area with K9’s to search for any remaining suspects. Police said they found a firearm. No one was hurt. Police are still investigating.
