Naples Police Department NAPLES, Fla.- A 21-year-old man accused of punching and smashing an ATM while drunk was arrested on Monday. Naples police say on Dec. 11, surveillance video caught Branden Morin smashing the monitor of an ATM machine at the Chase Bank on Fifth Avenue South, causing more than $1,000 in damage. Police say Morin admitted to smashing the ATM’s screen with his fist after it wouldn’t allow him to withdraw $200. “Morin stated that he was drunk when he punched the ATM’s screen,” police said. Naples police were able to identify Morin as the suspect through an anonymous tip. He is now facing charges for felony criminal mischief.
