Park officials announced this week that a Hoffman’s two-toed sloth was born March 24, and a Linnaeus’s two-toed sloth was born April 2.

The Hoffman’s sloth was born to mother, Grizzly, and father, Teddy, and weighed 6.6 ounces at birth. The Linnaeus’s sloth was born to first-time mother, Daisy, and father, Mario, and weighed 19.4 ounces at birth.

Sloth births are part of the Busch Gardens’ partnership with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Plan.
