Firefighters contained an 8-acre brush fire that ignited near the intersection of White Lake Boulevard and Shearwater Street Saturday, the Caloosahatchee Forestry Center said. The blaze started just after 1:30 p.m. and is now 100 percent contained, fire officials said. No structures are threatened at this time. No further information is immediately available.
