Survey: Should Hendry County teachers carry guns in classrooms?

Hendry County is asking the public if teachers should be allowed to have guns in its classrooms.

It’s an ongoing debate nationwide, and Hendry County School District is asking for input.

The survey is a simple Yes-or-No question .

Hendry is the only county in Southwest Florida taking part in the Guardian Program, where teachers receive weapons training to carry guns in classrooms.

IMPORTANT: The survey is for Hendry Country residents only.
