Marco Island police looking for man related to hit-and-run that left one person hurt

Marco Island police are asking for your help locating a person in relation to a hit-and-run crash near the intersection of Bald Eagle Drive and North Barfield Drive.

Police say they are looking for information about where Mario Ismael Corado Lopez may be so they can question him about the crash.

According to police, on April 1, at approximately 9:45 p.m., a silver Nissan sedan was involved in a hit-and-run near the intersection of Bald Eagle Drive and North Barfield Drive that left a person injured.

Marco Island police did not say if Lopez was the car’s driver, only that they wanted to question him about the crash.

The condition of the person who was hit in the crash was not released.
