Two bears were caught on camera having the time of their lives in a driveway of a Naples home on Saturday morning.

Neighbors said this isn’t the first time it’s happened in that community.

Lou and Nancy Vinciguerra have lived in Naples for five years.

They never would have guessed the main use for their outdoor security cameras would be to see bears paying them a visit in the middle of the night.

“We spotted them on our driveway would appear to be dancing. This is probably the third sighting in the past 10 days. The first time that we’ve ever seen two together,” Vinciguerra said.

The Vinciguerras live near Rookery Bay Preserve.

In one video you can see a bear finding gluten-free bread from a neighbor’s garbage and bringing it over to the Vinciguerra’s house.

“We joke when the bears are out and it’s not garbage day, because it says like he missed his schedule, his schedule got mixed up. Lots of times a year. It’s on garbage day. It’s not unusual to see garbage cans knocked down,” Vinciguerra said.

While this time was a laugh, sometimes it can be scary.

“In the middle of the night? Well, actually, that’s actually something we are concerned with our little dog who doesn’t make it through the whole night. So lots of times I’m up at four in the morning, letting them out so I’ll usually take them out back but I always had my good flashlight and I kind of make sure the coast is clear before I let them out.” Vinciguerra said.

But their security footage Saturday morning brought them nothing but joy.

“I think we enjoyed it. We thought it was pretty cool when we saw that. They were dancing together so that was unusual,” Vinciguerra said.
