Deputies say the 15-year-old had a loaded BB gun in his backpack that appeared real and say the teen showed the gun to multiple students. The sheriff’s office says the student told others that he was planning to go target shooting after school. They say some students believed the gun was real and feared for their safety. Deputies say the 15-year-old faces charges of possession of a weapon on school grounds, which is a felony.
