High temperatures will max out in the 80s and low 90s under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be breezy this afternoon and range from 10 to 20 mph out of the south-southwest. Boaters can expect 1- to 3-foot wave heights in the Gulf with a light to moderate chop in our bays.
Isolated showers are possible mainly east of I-75 today along a sea breeze that develops this afternoon. Even though we are tracking some showers, this rain won’t make a dent in our current severe to extreme drought around the area.
Our temperatures remain hot with highs likely breaking records next week.
