60 Minutes Social Security debt

60 Minutes investigated an issue that may have impacted many of you.

It involved an overpayment and a letter the Social Security Administration sent explaining a debt owed.

Becky Sword and her husband received one that said they had 30 days to pay back $51,887.

“You know, what are we gonna do? I mean, we were very scared,” added Sword.
