Collier County deputies searching for person who ran traffic stop (CREDIT: WINK News) The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who ran away from deputies during a traffic stop. Deputies report the incident occurred on Sunday night near the Arbor Walk Circle residential area in Naples. They tried to stop a driver at the main entrance of the Oasis Apartment complex when after he was pulled over, he ran away. A helicopter and K-9 units were deployed to search for the suspect. “We don’t see this often here and especially here in Naples. It’s very weird to see this kind of stuff,” said Arturo Ventre,” a resident of Oasis Apartments. Deputies said the investigation remains ongoing.
