Manatee Park. Credit: WINK News A section of the boardwalk trail that allows visitors to walk to the kayak launch of Manatee Park is scheduled to close for maintenance. According to Lee County Parks and Recreation, the section will be closed starting Monday as repairs are made. The public kayak launch, other park trails, pavilions, gift shops and kayak rentals will be available during this time. The park will remain open to visitors for normal operating hours.
