The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation at a home in Lehigh Acres.

Deputies responded to the scene located on Darlington Street and Eisenhower Boulevard at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

LCSO called this an active death investigation and an isolated incident.

In the late morning on Monday, a black screen covered the garage, making it impossible to see what was behind.

An LCSO Mobile Command Center and crime scene unit were at the scene throughout the day.

Neighbors told WINK News this isn’t the first time police have been at that house over the past week, but they were shocked by the morning scene.

“We’ve been wondering why the police been in and out of the neighborhood, like back to back for days,” said Aaliyah Hale. “We woke up, surprised a little confused and terrified because what’s going on? And we seen the fans that said crime scene unit or something. So we’re like, wow, it’s a death. So we were I was shocked by it.”

All parties have been accounted for, and the death has not been ruled suspicious, said LCSO.
