The Florida Department of Health in Collier County (DOH-Collier) has lifted the advisories for high bacterial levels at three Marco Island beaches.

DOH-Collier lifted the water advisories for Residents Beach, Tiger Tail Beach and South Marco Beach on Wednesday morning.

Tests completed on Monday indicated that the water quality at the beaches showed an acceptable level of Enterococcus bacteria.

The water is again safe to swim in.
