Estero leaders are set to meet and discuss the usage of nearly 200 acres of land located north and west of Williams Road and via Coconut Point.

The former Golf Coast Driving Range will receive a makeover as 200 acres of land are prepared for development.

Developers are in talks to build an entertainment district with pickleball courts, 10-pin bowling, and a High-5 development complex.

Renderings provided by the Villages of Estero aim to lease 52 acres of land to Estero High School to establish a high-end sports complex with the abovementioned features.

WINK News spoke with locals regarding their feelings towards the impending developments.

“I think it’s good for the community and a great asset to the Village of Estero,” said Estero resident Ken Kadel. “From what I read about it, I think having a multifaceted sports complex would be a great asset.”

Estero leaders encourage residents to attend the 5 p.m. Tuesday meeting to express their thoughts on the renderings and what they’d like to see from the development.
