Naples Pier closed due to high wind, waves

NAPLES, Fla. High winds and hazardous wave conditions have forced the closure of the Naples Pier, a city official said. The pier was closed from the snack bar outward Tuesday afternoon as winds gusted to more than 25 mph. Breezy conditions were expected to continue into Tuesday night.
