SANIBEL, Fla.- One of Southwest Florida’s most famous bald eagles is injured. Vets at the The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) say the eagle, believed to be Ozzie, has a fractured clavicle. CROW says the injured eagle is probably Ozzie, because it’s missing the same talon as the famous bald eagle. Ozzie was found dazed near train tracks in Fort Myers. WINK News first brought you video of the rescue Tuesday evening. People were able to get the bald eagle out of the way, right before a train passed through. CROW says the bald eagle will need a few weeks of rehabilitation. They are keeping us updated on his condition.
