A mom watching her son’s football game says she found a piece of jewelry and now she’s on a mission to find its rightful owner.
Wednesday night, Tracy Marino noticed something on the ground at Jim Jeffers Park as she cheered on her younger son.
“I honestly figured it was a high school ring,” said Marino.
When she picked it up, she realized it was a keepsake fitted for a Marine.
“I mean it belongs to somebody I don’t want to keep it. I started by posting on Facebook, then on Craigslist, then my husband emailed you. So I figured, try to find the owner somehow, right?”
