FORT MYERS, Fla. – Lee County Utilities has repaired a water main break that left dozens of families without water most of Sunday.
LCU said it first heard about the problem around 7 a.m. Sunday. Officials said there were about 30 locations that stretch south of Alico Road and west of Three Oaks Parkway that were without water, with low water pressure or with dirty water.
By 5 p.m., crews located the break in a wooded area near the Pine Chase neighborhood and fixed it. LCU said families do not need to boil their water.
