What does $1.5 billion buy?

NAPLES, Fla.- The Powerball jackpot now sits at $1.5 billion as people across Southwest Florida continue lining up to buy tickets.

At one point, the lottery was selling more than 25,000 tickets per minute. So, what could you buy with all that money?

“Toy wise, I would probably buy a yacht,” said Collier County homeowner Barry Karson. “But, I won’t spend more than $10 million on it.”

No worries there, a powerful, luxurious 60 Cantius, a 60-foot yacht by Cruisers Yachts, sits at only $2 million.

“Oh, it’s a blast,” said Steven Wiltgen with Galati Yacht Sales. “Open sunroof so you can still have the wind blowing in your hair. But, you can also close it up and still have the air conditioning running if it gets too hot for you.”

The 60 Cantius comes with three staterooms, including a gorgeous master suite, complete with an espresso machine. At $2 million, you could buy 465 of them with your Powerball winnings.

If cars are more your speed, why not buy a Maserati, Bentley or Rolls Royce? Naples Luxury Imports has all of them. The Rolls Royce comes with a price tag of $368,000, so you could buy around 2,500 of them if you’re the lucky winner Wednesday night.

“I always wanted to have a house,” said Collier County resident Michelle Abiva.

The person who becomes the next billionaire might consider purchasing the most exclusive condominium on the market in Naples, listed by Jane Bond with Premier Sotheby’s. The 13,000-square-foot penthouse in Naples Cay boasts 360 degree views.

The owners, Cimex Investment, Inc. hired the design team of Interiors by Steven G for the complete renovation. The luxurious condominium has
a master suite, with his and hers massive closets, a sauna, a hidden wine room, a cold storage cedar closet and five and half baths. The price is upon request, but we’re 100 percent sure if you hit the Powerball jackpot, luxury awaits!
