Teacher Appreciation Day 2016 Freebies

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Tuesday, May 3 belongs to you, teachers. It’s National Teacher Appreciation Day! To celebrate, several restaurants and retailers all over Southwest Florida are giving away free items and/or discounts to you. We’ve put together a list of some of those businesses which you’ll find below. However, most of them require a valid teacher ID to redeem the offer, so make sure you have that with you.

Restaurants

World of Beer

All day, WOB is offering a free draught pint of either Sam Adams Nitro White or Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider to all teachers. Just stop by with your educator’s ID, and enjoy a beer on them. There are two locations in Southwest Florida, one in the Belltower Shops, the other in Gulf Coast Town Center.

Chick-fil-A

The deals offered here vary by location. We’ve managed to track down a few, but if your location isn’t listed here, that doesn’t mean that particular restaurant isn’t offering any deals.

• Colonial Blvd. – Free Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit from 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Valid ID required.
• Pine Island Rd. – Free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich from 11 a.m. 8 p.m. Valid ID required.
• Coastland Center Mall – Free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. Valid ID Required.

Chipotle

Every restaurant is offering a BOGO. Present your valid ID from 3 p.m. – close and receive a buy-one/get-one burritos, bowls, salads, or order of tacos.

PDQ

Teachers with a valid ID can get a free combo meal from open to close (10:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.).
