Authorities involved in daycare dispute over child’s injuries

NORTH NAPLES, Fla. – A two-year-old’s parents are demanding answers after their son returned home from Noah’s Ark with bruises and scratches.

The daycare’s owner said the pre-schooler got hurt from pine cones and maintains that any accusations that the child was abused in the facility are unfounded. But the parents are not pleased that the staff failed to inform them of their son’s injuries.

The Department of Children and Families and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
