SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 17-year-old runaway from Ohio accused of robbing a Cape Coral bank on Monday also hit up a south Fort Myers auto parts store, authorities said.

Painesville Ohio resident Hayley Pettrey pointed a gun at two employees at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 15681 San Carlos Boulevard, and demanded all the cash in the register Oct. 28, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Pettrey told the employees, “This is for real, yo,” and fled after they handed over the cash, Crime Stoppers said. She and 19-year-old Christian Miller were apprehended Wednesday in Lake City and will be extradited back to Lee County to face charges.

No further information was immediately available.
