ESTERO, Fla. — Two wrecks caused a backup Monday night in the northbound lanes near Exit 123 on Interstate 75.
All northbound lanes were blocked shortly after 9 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol, though the hazard has since cleared.
The first wreck involved a car that rolled over near mile marker 125. The other happened close to mile marker 123 where the driver of a black Honda Civic wasn’t paying attention and crashed into a white Kia SUV, FHP said.
The driver of the Honda, whose identity hasn’t been released, was later arrested for suspicion of DUI and drug-related offenses, according to FHP.
At least one person suffered minor injuries, FHP said.
No further information was immediately available.
