NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. Tony Aarts credited his trusty Cleveland Golf putter with saving his life. Aarts used his putter to subdue a 10-foot gator that attacked him several weeks ago as he was approaching the fourth hole at Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club. Cleveland Golf heard about Aarts’ near-death experience and decided to not only give him a new putter, but custom clubs with gator etched into the wedges and a reminder of who won the fight. “It did save my life. There’s no doubt about that,” Aarts said.
