Group knits quilts, gives teddy bears to ailing SWFL children

SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. A husband-and-wife team started a group that knits quilts and gifts them, along with teddy bears, to sick children.

Luvybear Quilts 4 Tots Inc. is raising money for its efforts with a fashion show from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Bell Tower Shops.

Fashion show attendees are asked to RSVP with Brodeur Carvell Fine Apparel at 239-931-4000.
