Bishop Verot Catholic High School reported to the Department of Education that an employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

Due to privacy laws, The Diocese of Venice in Florida says the name of the employee is confidential.

According to the Diocese:

“This case was quickly reported to the Department of Education and immediate action was taken. The school acted promptly to sanitize any space used by this employee. Further, this case was reported to the Lee County Department of Health. The employee has been quarantined at home and will not return to campus until the employee tests negative.”
