A 16-year-old teen from Lehigh Acres was injured in a vehicle crash on Monday.
The crash occurred on Daniels Parkway near Westlinks Drive shortly after 6 p.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The teen was eastbound on Daniels Parkway behind two vehicles that slowed for traffic.
The teen didn’t slow for traffic and drove into a second vehicle, which then collided with a third vehicle in front of it.
A 26-year-old driver, of Lehigh Acres, sustained minor injuries. A 20-year-old female passenger in the vehicle also sustained minor injuries.
An 18-year-old woman driving the third vehicle was not injured. Neither were two children in the car.
