Two Fort Lauderdale women were arrested in Lee County after deputies said they stole dozens of candles from two stores.

Beverly Taylor, 24, and Aailyah Jefferson, 26, each face grand theft charges.

Sheriff’s office investigators said Taylor and Jefferson went on a spree Wednesday at the Bath and Body Works store at Miromar Outlets, where they walked away with more than 55 candles.

The pair also stole items from a store at Coconut Point Mall and have been linked to at least two other grand theft investigations at Bath and Body Works stores in Lee County, according to LCSO.

In total, they stole more than $2,500 worth of products, LCSO said.

Both have since been released from the Lee County Jail on $5,000 bond each.
