(Credit: WINK News) Fort Myers Police say a man drove himself to the hospital after being shot in the arm Sunday morning. Police say their shot spotter network picked up the sound of gunfire in the area of Veronica Shoemaker Blvd. and Edison Ave. They say they believe the two are connected. Broken glass was left behind in the street that police believe came from a car window that was shot. Police also marked off dozens of shell casings that were left behind. A neighbor told WINK News that the shooting woke them up and prompted them to call Fort Myers Police. Police are now looking for anyone who may have seen or heard something related to the shooting. This story is ongoing and will be updated when more information is available.
