A man convicted for his participation in a Lehigh Acres shooting death has been sentenced to life in prison Wednesday.
Victor Colon, 23, of Lehigh Acres, received his life sentence 15 days after his co-conspirator, Ricky Gaspar Ruiz, also of Lehigh Acres, received the same sentence.
Both were accused of shooting and killing 21-year-old Isaiah Robles in traffic in February 2020, a murder that was caught on camera. Video of the encounter shows the two men, who were arrested in Hialeah, running through traffic firing a gun at a vehicle.
