Florida Highway Patrol confirmed to WINK News that all southbound lanes of I-75 were shut down in Lee County at mile marker 118. All lanes are now back open.

FHP says a truck lost two containers of sodium hydroxide, with more than 200 gallons leaking onto the roadway across the southbound lanes.

Traffic is being diverted off of the interstate at exit 123, the Corkscrew Road exit.

Troopers and other crews are on scene assessing the spill.
