A 28-year-old Palm Bay, Florida, man was arrested after aggressively shaking a 6-year-old child during a domestic dispute on Friday.

Demarques Samuel Gamble is accused of also throwing an object at the child.

The incident happened early Friday morning in the 800 block of Riverpoint Drive after he and his fiancee got into a dispute.

Gamble was pushed out of the apartment but he made it back in and ransacked it before leaving again, taking his guns.

Police caught up with him a short distance away and arrested him on charges of domestic battery and child abuse.

In his vehicle, they found numerous handguns, rifles, shotguns and ammunition throughout the vehicle.

One of the guns was determined to be stolen from another Florida county.

He was taken to the Collier County jail.

WINK News spoke with one of Gamble’s neighbors in Naples, Shelly Kudialis who explained how she felt about what happened.

“It makes me sad that it has to be that way but in no way should children be involved in something like that it’s just not fair that’s horrible. I can’t even imagine, somebody hurting a child and hopefully, the child is ok,” Kudialis said.
