Handy Granda, 36. Credit: Lee County Sheriff’s Office A man in the Lee County Jail faces further charges after police say he was found to have pawned off items stolen through burglaries. According to the Cape Coral Police Office, 36-year-old Handy Granda faces additional felony charges after an investigation revealed he “burglarized, stole and pawned numerous items of value.” Granda was already at the Lee County Jail from a Feb. 27 narcotics arrest when he ran and was caught by CCPD. This arrest led to the discovery of evidence to support Granda’s connection to vast property crimes across Cape Coral. Granda faces combined charges of: Grand theft of motor vehicle Grand theft – $20,000 or more, less than $100,000 Dealing in stolen property (three counts) Burglary of a conveyance Burglary of a structure Grand theft – $750 or more, less than $5,000 (two counts) Criminal mischief – over $200, less than $5,000 Criminal mischief – under $200
